The Airvent Mixed Flow Fan is a high-performance ventilation solution for restricted spaces and refurbishment projects. This ducted fan system provides powerful airflow and pressure to extract air and control humidity, condensation, and stale odours, even in tight voids or loft spaces.
Using a mixed-flow impeller, this fan can generate significantly higher pressure than traditional axial designs. This makes it perfect for installing ducted ventilation systems and pushing air through convoluted duct routes or extraction points far from the fan unit. It develops a powerful maximum airflow of 855m3/h from its 150mm spigot to shift high volumes through 100mm ducting. The compact 252x226x307mm size and inclusion of a mounting foot plate also allow flexible installation in tight joist ceiling voids.
Despite its high performance, this fan remains straightforward to install and operate. The unit has a pre-wired timer, providing easy on/off scheduling. Speed is adjustable via a 3-setting rotary switch, offering a choice of performance levels. The fan is double insulated and rated IPX4 splashproof to cope with humid bathroom or kitchen environments. Thermal overload protection provides peace of mind. An exterior wall grille, interior wall mounting kit and flexible aluminium ducting can be added as optional accessories for a complete ventilation solution.
