The Calorex DH300 is a high capacity industrial dehumidifier, capable of extracting up to 300 litres of moisture from the air per day. It is a large, tough and robust unit, designed for controlling humidity levels in large industrial spaces, such as warehouses, factories, industrial units, electrical sub-stations, food and drink production plants, museums, storage facilities and more. It is perfect for controlling the humidity level within these spaces in order to maintain the integrity of stored items, prevent damage to equipment and machinery caused by moisture, prevent damp, mould and rot, and to assist in drying out during various food production processes.
This large industrial floor-standing dehumidifier operates on 400v 3 phase power supply. It draws air in using a fan and and passes it over a set of refrigerated coils. The moisture in the air condenses into liquid as it comes into contact with the cold surface, removing it from the air. The dry air is then passed through a hot condenser before it is expelled back out into the space. The moisture drains out of the unit through a 1½ inch BSPM condensate drain. A hose can be connected to this drain and fed outside through a wall.
