Electronic Controller: The electronic touchscreen controller provides easy usability and simple installation. It can operate in basic or advanced mode and provides many features such as multiple air curtains control and a 7-day timer. The controller also displays the temperature and fan speed for connected air curtains.
Major Energy & Cost Savings: The electronic controller can provide efficient climate control through clever regulation of fan speed and heat. This helps to prevent unnecessary energy usage and reduces heat loss around open doors. The low energy consumption of the EC fans installed in the air curtains also helps with energy and cost savings.
Energy Usage Screen: The controller features an energy usage screen that shows the energy consumption of all connected air curtains on the last day, week, month, and year.
Adjustable Power Output: Users can select between standard or high-power output for each model. This allows the user to select the correct kW rating for their application.
Suitable For Wider Doorways: Available in 1m, 1.5m, and 2m lengths. Multiple air curtains can be easily interconnected using CAT5/CAT6 RJ45 networking cable to resemble a continuous unit.
Enhanced Security: The controller can be security coded to prevent unauthorised access.
Temperature Sensor: The external temperature sensor can be used indoors or outdoors which enables the electronic controller to optimise the fan speed and heat output to create an efficient optimal barrier and climate protection.
The RAC-HL range is simple to install, requiring a recess shallow of 300mm. These units are perfectly suited for shop and warehouse use. Best installed above a door or window these devices created a steady stream of downward blowing air that creates a barrier. This barrier traps indoor air stopping it from seeping out whilst blocking the entrance of outdoor air. This removes the need for prolonged central heating usage as temperatures can be regulated easily. This saves on both energy usage and the costs incurred by it.
These units are available in a range of heat capacity outputs from 8-12kW, 12-18kW, and 16-24kW. They are 415 volts operated and are 3 phase 50Hz powered. They offer a diverse range of functionality including 8 heat settings, 8 fan speeds a 7-day timer, and a fan-only settings for improved air circulation. Each unit is compatible with Building Management Systems. Electronic overheat and fault protection come built-in along with a visual fault indication. They are simple installation, easy to maintain and program, and are supplied with the hinged white non-vision grille.
Each is supplied with an electronic controller, external temperature sensor, and RJ45 cable. These require no intermediary terminal blocks; wiring is via plug-and-play cable and connectors are direct to the controller. Each electronic controller can control up to 7 air curtains with the same settings, has an easy-to-use interface and is simple to set up, and offers 4 different modes.
Manual mode allows the user to set desired fan speed and heat settings. Automatic allows the user to set air curtain’s mounting height and the program will automatically modify the ventilation and heating to provide high separation efficiency and optimum comfort. Constant Temperature mode helps maintain a constant outlet temperature whilst regulating the air curtain velocity to maintain the optimum level of air separation. The Advanced Control mode gives the user the ability to set a temperature range and the program will automatically adjust heating as a higher target temperature is approached.
These controllers also offer enhanced security by setting a four-digit pin code. This allows the user to prevent unauthorized access to the controller. Each also displays energy usage of all connected air curtains in the last day, week, month, and year. The heater status shows the temperature and fan speed of connected air curtains, and each machine has a 7-day timer.
