Removes Up To 30L Per Day: The Ebac BD150 building dryer has great extraction capacity to speed up drying times on site following construction, decorating and renovation work and following flood and leak damage.
510m3/hr Airflow: The single speed fan offers great airflow, making this dehumidifier effective in large spaces up to 300m3.
All Steel Construction: This heavy-duty dehumidifier can endure the shocks and the knocks that are common in busy, fast-paced working areas.
Gravity Fed Condensate Drain: The collected moisture runs out of the unit via a gravity fed drain. You can connect a hose to the drainage spout for continous operation, or you can place a container under the spout to collect condensate.
Single Voltage & Dual Voltage Options: Available in either 230V or 110/230V dual voltage. The dual voltage version features an internal voltage protection system to ensure that accidental connection to the wrong supply will not harm the machine.
Portable Design: A robust handle and large rubber wheels make the machine easy to transport and allow easy positioning on site.
Reverse Cycle Defrost: Prevents a build-up of ice on the coils to keep the dehumidifier running efficiently and effectively even in colder conditions.
Made In The UK: Designed and built by experts in the industry and made to last.
The EBAC BD150 is a tough, robust and effective refrigerant dehumidifer, with the capacity to extract up to 30 litres of moisture per day from the air. It is a widely respected building dryer within the hire industry and within trades. It is ideal for drying out rooms following construction work, decorating work and plastering, as well as following leaks and floods. The EBAC BD150 portable dehumidifier is engineered to cope in the most demanding conditions - even on cold winter days and where dampness is really severe. The robust metal casing and large rubber wheels make this dehumidifier ideal for use on site.
This industrial dehumidifier is a refrigerant unit, so it removes moisture from the air using a fan to draw air into the unit and over a set of refrigerated coils. This causes the moisture in the air to condense into liquid. The moisture is then drained out of the BD150 unit through a spout. The water can either be collected in a container or drained away using a hose. The dry air is heated with the energy recovered during the drying phase and returned to the room. This process lowers the relative humidity of the air and increases it’s capacity to absorb more moisture from surrounding surfaces, improving drying times within the space.
The EBAC BD150 dehumidifier has an airflow rate of 510m3/hr, while boasting an operating temperature range of 3°C to 35°C and a humidity range of 35 per cent to 90 per cent. It is effective in areas up to 300m3. The BD150 also features a built-in reverse cycle defrost function. As, when operating in cold conditions, ice often forms on the coils of compressor dehumidifiers, reducing its effectiveness. The defrost function operates every 42 minutes for a period of 4 minutes to prevent a buildup of ice on the coils and keep the dehumidifier running efficiently and effectively.
This unit is available in either single voltage (230v) or dual voltage (230v/110v). The dual voltage version features an internal voltage protection system to ensure that accidental connection to the wrong supply will not harm the machine.
Where there is a need for fast, reliable and energy-efficient drying, EBAC industrial dehumidifiers provide the solution. They are ideal for new building construction, renovation, alteration of existing buildings or in special circumstances such as flooding. They are extremely popular in the hire industry, due to their simple operation, robustness and reliability. EBAC industrial dehumidifiers, such as the BD150 30 litre building dryer, offer fast, efficient and cost-effective drying.
Simplicity is one of the major benefits of the EBAC industrial dehumidifier range. To dry out any space, you need only to check that all doors and windows are closed, wheel the unit to a convenient location, connect to the supply and press the start button. Drainage of condensate from the machine is equally simple – either by connecting a hose to the drainage spout and leading it to a drain, or by placing a container under the spout.
