Duct Air In & Out: The Ebac DD1200 dehumidifier has vents fitted with flanges. Air can be vented in and out using simple ducting. This means there is no internal water tank to empty and the dehumidifier can be left to run 24/7.

The Ebac DD1200 desiccant dehumidifier is ideal for use in a wide range of industry sectors. It can be used for controlling humidity in large industrial spaces in order to prevent condensation, mildew, damp, mould, corrosion and moisture damage. It can be used in warehouses, factories, laboratories, waterworks, archives, cold stores and much more.
The Ebac DD1200 dehumidifier has the capacity to extract up to 135 litres of moisture from the air per day. It is capable of operating at extremely low temperatures, where a compressor dehumidifier would fail to perform.
As it is a desiccant model, the Ebac DD1200 extracts moisture from the air using a moisture absorbent silica gel on a rotor. As air passes through the rotor, the humidity of the air is reduced, whilst the moisture content of the rotor is increased.
A smaller volume of air, the reactivation air, is heated by an internal PTC heater and passes through a portion of the rotor in the opposite direction. As this heated air passes through the rotor it will “reactivate” it by removing the moisture content from the silica gel material.
The reactivation air will leave the humidifier as warm, moist air and must be vented to outside of the building.
Continuous circulation of the room air through the dehumidifier unit gradually reduces the relative humidity in the room.
Lengths of ducting can be fixed on to the process air duct and regen air duct on this dehumidifier, so air can be ducted in and out from separate spaces. The regeneration outlet must be ducted to outside the area being dehumidified. The outlet duct spigot is 6” diameter and only 6” ducting or greater should be attached. The process outlet can be ducted to a specific area or another room. The outlet duct spigot is 8” diameter and only 8” ducting or greater should be attached.
The integrated electronic humidistat allows automatic control, as the dehumidifier will switch on and off automatically as required. The hour meter monitors time on the job. A remote humidistat is also available as an optional accessory.
This model features two EC fans with variable control, which, along with the integrated humidistat, allow you to select a desired drying performance - eg. high efficiency, deep drying or high extraction.
