27kW Heat Output: Great capacity from a compact unit. Ideal for heating workshops, warehouses, agricultural buildings and a range of other industrial spaces effectively.
Two Heat Settings: The Thermobile Bio Energy B can operate at full capacity of 27kW or reduced capacity of 20kW, so you can select an appropriate heat level for your space.
100% Clean, Fume-Free Warm Air: Safe heating option for enclosed indoor spaces, as the fumes produced during combustion are exhausted outside.
Range Of Fuel Options: Can be fuelled by biofuels, such as rapeseed oil and certain vegetable oils, and waste oil, as well as diesel and red diesel. This provides a great cost saving, as you can fuel the heater using oils produced in the course of your everyday business.
'Thermo' Version Available: The standard Bio Energy B produces radiant heat only, whilst the Bio Energy B Thermo produces a combination of radiant heat plus hot air from the top mounted 'Thermo' blower, with an airflow rate of 800 m3/h.
150mm Flue: The flue exhaust can be connected up to lengths of flue pipe in order to vent fumes outside. (Flue kit available as an accessory).
50L Fuel Tank: Provides plenty of fuel to keep the heater running, can be topped up easily when needed and can be removed for cleaning.
240v Power Supply: The heater can be plugged into any standard 230v power socket, for convenience and ease of installation.
Plug & Play Design: This unit be installed easily by any tradesperson. It simply needs a hole to be created in a wall for the exhaust to be flued outside and then plugged into a standard 230v plug socket.
Overheat Protection: Shuts the heater down automatically if it starts to overheat, preventing an accident.
*The Bio Energy B range features a perforated combustion chamber which may not be suitable for volatile environments with combustable fumes or particles. For enclosed combustion chamber universal oil heaters, consider the Bio Energy 1, 2 or 3 range.
The Thermobile Bio Energy B is a compact and robust 27kW bio-oil fuelled cabinet heater, ideal for workshops, warehouses, agricultural buildings and a range of other industrial spaces. This heater can be fuelled using Bio Oil, Bio diesels and various vegetable oils, rapeseed oil, linseed oil, as well as waste oil and standard diesel or red diesel.
This heater helps to save on fuel costs, offers low emissions of harmful gases and provides 100% clean heat, as the exhaust fumes produces during combustion are flued out of the back of the heater. Full combustion is achieved in a vaporising system and non-burnable residue is retained in the burner pan.
The Bio Energy B cabinet heater has a 50-litre fuel tank, an overheat security thermostat, flame failure thermostat and an oil overflow security system fitted as standard. This waste oil burner has a fixed outlet temperature of 50-70 ° C and it has a switch that allows it to operate either at 20kW or 27kW, so you can select the ideal heat output for your space.
The standard Bio Energy B produces radiant heat only, whilst the Bio Energy B Thermo produces a combination of radiant heat plus hot air from the top mounted 'Thermo' blower, with a heated airflow of 800 m3/h.
The Bio Energy B and the Bio Energy B Thermo feature a perforated combustion chamber, so they are recommended for workshops where no explosive vapours are present. The following must not be used as fuel: solvents, thinners, petro-chemical based oils, transformer oil or any oil above S.A.E. 90.
You must install the heater on a completely level concrete floor. The positioning of the heater in the workshop must take into account the 240v power supply, flue pipe installation, combustion air supply, and access to the integrated fuel tank.
We have an optional flue kit available for the Thermobile BioEnergy B cabinet heater, which allows you to exhaust the fumes produced during combustion out of the space. The flue kit consists of a T piece complete with draught stabiliser, 4 x 1m lengths of flue piping (150mm diameter), a rain cap, 2 x adjustable wall brackets and a high temperature silicone rubber roof flashing & fitting kit. If your ceiling is higher than 5m, we can supply extra sections of 1m piping.
We can also supply pipes with a 45 degree bend, so you can flue fumes out at an angle, if required for your space. A minimum of 4-5m of flue installation must be internal due to flue operating temperatures and are not suitable for installation with a 90-degree bend. If you require any extra parts or advice, give our sales team a call and we can customise a flue kit to suit your requirements.
Please note: The Bio Energy B and the Bio Energy B Thermo feature a perforated combustion chamber, so they are recommended for workshops where no explosive vapours are present. The following must not be used as fuel: solvents, thinners, petro-chemical based oils, transformer oil or any oil above S.A.E. 90.
