The Infresco-CT 4kW is an energy-saving controller designed for use with quartz infrared halogen lamps and other heating loads up to 4kW. It allows the load to be switched on for 1 to 60 minutes. This prevents heaters from being left on unnecessarily, reducing energy consumption and saving you money.
This microcontroller-based unit incorporates zero-voltage switching and a soft-start function. This eliminates the initial high inrush current when loads are switched on, which can potentially increase lamp life by as much as 30%. The soft-start also helps avoid nuisance tripping of circuit breakers.
The Infresco-CT has an IP65 rated enclosure, allowing it to be installed indoors or outdoors. Installation is simple and once installed, the unit is relatively maintenance-free for ease of use.
