Water Pumps For Faster Drying And Flood Restoration
Dirty water & submersible water pumps, also sometimes referred to as water butt pumps, are designed to ease the process of moving and dispersing of liquids and slurries. Often used in restoration industries, and in areas that are prone to flooding such as cellars, pools, wells or ponds.
Water butt pumps that are used to remove flooded interiors can also work in tandem with a dehumidifier and floor dryer.
Water Pumps For Commercial And Industrial Applications
Submersible and dirty water pumps are units that are designed to deliver reliable, high performance water transfer across commercial, industrial, agricultural and construction site environments. The pumps we stock are durable and efficient, and are provided by reliable, quality brands such as Elite, Ponstar, Hyundai and Sealey amongst others.
For smaller tasks, the Hyundai HYWP4300X 43cc 2-Stroke 1.5 Inch Water Pump is capable of pumping 250 litres a minute and is easily relocated, weighing in at just 8kg. This unit in particular is great for draining garden ponds, small pools, hot tubs and flooded areas.
In contrast, we offer larger units for high performance industrial uses, such as the Hyundai DHYT80E 80mm Diesel Trash Pump. This unit is capable of moving up to 880 litres a minute and is able to move both dirty water and slurry effectively. This unit is ideal for large scale tasks and heavy duty jobs, such as draining pits, swimming pools or flooded areas.
Many of our water pumps operate on a plug and play basis, meaning that they require minimal setup and are easy to use.
Submersible Water Pumps vs Dirty Water Pumps
At National Heater Shops, we have options for both submersible water pumps and dirty water pumps, however both of these pumps are designed for slightly different operational needs. It’s important to know and understand these distinctions when purchasing a pump, as it will help you to decide on the most efficient and cost-effective solution for your application.
Submersible Water Pumps
These water pumps operate when submerged within the water source. They are typically used to remove clean or lightly contaminated water.
Key benefits:
Higher efficiency when working with clean water
Compact, portable designs
Reliable operation and capable of being used continuously and intermittently
Appropriate for controlled commercial environments
Dirty Water Pumps
Dirty water pumps have more application in areas where water may be contaminated or contain solids and debris. As a result, they are often used in construction sites and in the removal of contaminated flood water.
Key Benefits:
Larger impeller passages for solids
Reduced risk of clogging
Designed for more demanding conditions
Durable and heavy duty
Some of our submersible water pumps are also capable of pumping dirty water. Always make sure to read product specifications or contact us if you have any queries.
